The Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel is perfectly situated for both business and leisure travellers. Right on the other side of the river lie Solsiden and Nedre Elvehavn, Trondheim's new shopping and restaurant streets. Only five minutes walk up towards the town you'll find Trondheim's old quarter, Bakklandet, with its charming small shops and local coffee bars. The airport bus stops in front of the hotel and runs every 15 minutes. Travel time from the airport is 35 minutes.
The hotel is a superb starting point for trips, with train and boat connections within easy walking distance. Take a boat trip to Munkholmen, an old monastery that is now used as a sun and recreation area. Take the bus up to Granåsen ski stadium to experience nature or sport, or take a jog or walk on the footpath that leads from the hotel via the Nidaros cathedral, through Bakklandet and over the town's flower bridge before ending up at the hotel again.
